Inspiration

The inspiration for Moneta came from the need to make personal finance accessible and engaging for everyone. We realized that many people struggle with managing their money and making informed investment decisions. By combining AI technology with a user-friendly interface, we aimed to create a tool that empowers individuals to take control of their financial future.

What it does

Moneta is a revolutionary personal finance app that leverages AI to provide personalized financial insights, tailored loan options, informed investment decisions, comprehensive portfolio visualization, and educational resources.

How we built it

The app's user interface was designed in Figma, while the frontend was developed with Flutter. For the AI features, we integrated Google Dialogflow, and the backend is powered by Firebase.

Challenges we ran into

One of the major challenges we faced was integrating the AI to provide accurate and personalized financial advice. Ensuring the security and privacy of user data was another critical aspect that required meticulous attention. Additionally, creating a smooth and engaging user interface that accommodates various financial tools was a complex task.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re incredibly proud of successfully developing a comprehensive app that combines multiple financial tools in one platform. Our AI assistant, MonaAI, is a standout feature, providing valuable financial insights to users. Also, the paper trading feature has helped many of our users break out of the fear of stock trading.

What we learned

Throughout this journey, we learned the importance of user-centric design and the need for thorough testing and iteration. We also gained valuable insights into the complexities of financial technologies and the significance of ensuring data security.

What's next for Moneta

Looking ahead, we plan to expand Moneta's features by integrating more advanced AI capabilities and offering additional financial services. We aim to enhance our educational content and introduce new tools to help users manage their finances more effectively. Our goal is to make Moneta the go-to app for personal finance management.
