Inspiration
We have used many web2 marketing platforms, but we feel that it is difficult to ensure fairness and transparency for ordinary users. So we have developed Monet, a decentralized marketing platform based on Chainlink and Ethereum
What it does
Monet is a decentralized marketing platform. We connect advertisers and ordinary users directly through Ethereum smart contracts, enabling prize-based marketing campaigns that are transparent and fair without the need for third-party supervision. For campaign initiators, they can launch a campaign on the platform and pledge a prize pool for the lottery. As for campaign participants, they simply need to participate in the marketing campaign to qualify for the final contract lottery. The lottery takes place when the marketing campaign ends and is implemented using Chainlink VRF service for the random selection process. The prize money is transferred directly to the winning address through the smart contract.
How we built it
In our team, four individuals are independently responsible for the design and development of the frontend, smart contracts, and backend, respectively.I am the team leader, primarily responsible for the backend, and I am also responsible for driving the overall progress of the project
Challenges we ran into
Our team of four was formed temporarily, and we don't have a highly efficient development and collaboration environment. Additionally, since not everyone is fully dedicated to the competition due to other commitments, it has made the development process less efficient.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It is worth mentioning that we have managed to complete the basic prototype of the product before the deadline.
What we learned
Moving forward, our team can continue iterating on this product. Additionally, our team members have gained more technical experience through this competition, and personally, I have accumulated more experience in team and project management, in addition to technical expertise.
What's next for Monet
Due to the limited time, there are still some issues that need to be resolved with the Monet platform. Moving forward, we plan to actually launch and operate Monet, while continuously iterating and adding new features to it.
