Hello, Hackathons, Mommy's Helpful Gude App is an app that helps first-time mothers care for their first baby. I live in Nigeria, I live in an area called Ologun in Lagos State where more than 90% of the population of people has challenges feeding and taking care of themselves.

What inspired me to create the "Mommy's Helpful Guide App" was witnessing the struggles faced by first-time mothers, especially those in my community. Working as a manager in a hospital, I often saw pregnant women, many of whom couldn't afford proper care and support. One incident that deeply affected me was when a young woman, abandoned by her partner upon learning of her pregnancy, came to seek help. She ended up having an unsafe abortion, nearly losing her life in the process. This tragic situation repeated itself far too often. Reflecting on this, I realized that many of these women had smartphones. This sparked the idea of creating an app like "Mommy's Helpful Guide App" to provide them with essential guidance and support at their fingertips. I believe that by offering easy access to valuable information and resources, we can save lives, prevent abortions, and strengthen relationships within our community.

I discovered that using PartyRock to create an app is really simple and interesting. PartyRock provided helpful tips for me to use.

I created the app by entering some words, and then the software, Party Rock, used those words to figure out how to make the app.

I struggled with making a 90-second video and editing it. Figuring out where to post the link and write the blog post was tough too, causing a delay in submitting the app. However, I enjoyed the challenge and found it educational. Thanks to the Amazon PartyRock Team.
