Inspiration

The idea was inspired by the national SEED project and Life On Film. Everyone holds stories but oftentimes like the medium to share it, I want to streamline this process for users to share and express the individual stories and life that we live. There are windows and mirrors in all moments of our lives, so let's share that connection with each other.

What it does

This app, Momentos, looks to draw out and automate the process of how personal stories are told and shared. It looks to gather assets: videos, photos, and/or voice recordings and stitches it up to show a moment of one's life. Users can look to silently reflect or share their story.

How we built it

Frontend was built using react-native, with Golang as backend/microservice layer. Additional pieces are - openAI whisper model and an LLM to break down speech

• gemini vision model to highlight and classify key moments and pictures
• AI agent to make the final editing stitches ## Challenges we ran into The biggest challenge was finding the best way to go about AI video editing and how to streamline it for a specific editing styling. Ideally, it's something that continues to be refined so that it's easily replicable and passes quality checks. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of Being able to get some type of MVP out and present an idea that's been brewing for a while. ## What we learned How to ship fast and what it means to continually hone one's agentic development. ## What's next for Momentos Continuing to hone on features and usability -> Official deployment? 👀
