Inspiration
Have you ever wondered how you solve a problem? You be the problem LOL. just kidding.
The idea behind this project stems from a common problem: people want to stay updated on social media, track the latest news, and manage work emails—often all at the same time. Now imagine an interface that displays multiple live windows across a virtual space, allowing you to look around naturally to follow different activities. It’s more intuitive, more immersive, and far more efficient than swiping between apps or tabs.
This project is meant to be fun, and yet also something productive that we see people using frequently.
What it does
It provides a virtual workspace where multiple windows can be viewed at once, tailored to your preferred and most-used applications. If you need to answer emails while keeping an eye on a sports game, the interface allows you to monitor both effortlessly through your peripheral vision.
How we built it
We used ByteDance's WebSpatial interface along with Cursor AI to vibe-code our way with the vision we had.
Challenges we ran into
We had trouble synchronizing the 2D interface with the 3D spatial version on the VR headset.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We met our goals of creating a VR environment.
What we learned
We learned that we can brainrot at a whole different level. OR, we can be mega productive by seeing a million things at once.
What's next for Moment
We will focus on advancing the platform’s usability, enabling individuals to adopt and incorporate it into their daily workflows more effectively.
