About Mohalla Rescue AI
Every neighborhood has problems that people see every day—but many remain difficult to document, organize, and track. Overflowing garbage, blocked drains, potholes, and broken streetlights affect communities and the places they call home.
Mohalla Rescue AI was created around one simple idea: make local problems easier to report, organize, and follow up on through accessible technology.
The platform provides a community-focused interface where residents can document neighborhood issues, explore issue categories, and track available status information. It explores how AI-assisted technology can help make community problem-solving more organized and accessible.
The inspiration behind this project is also reflected in my documentary, The Street Everyone Sees, which highlights the importance of noticing local problems and bringing attention to them.
Mohalla Rescue AI is currently a prototype. It does not automatically send reports to government authorities, and its demo functionality should not be mistaken for a verified public-service system.
My goal is to develop this idea further into a practical tool that helps communities document local challenges, improve coordination, and work toward cleaner, safer neighborhoods.
