Inspiration

It all started years ago when I got my baccalaureate exam where I was around a couple of my friends who were totally confused about what to choose on the university. I wished there was a website to help us do this. Years later, I got my acceptance at the best school in Algeria for computer science and I was holding the idea to build the website I wished about!

What it does

The platform has these unique features :

  • Search for any university you want.
  • Filter by specialty.
  • Ask for personal consulting.
  • Read Blogs.
  • Leave a question on any university article and wait for an answer.

How I built it

I built this with a friend of my mine studying computer science as well using these technologies: Laravel framework, HTML, CSS, responsive web design with bootstrap, javascript, jQuery, MySQL, sweetalert2.

Challenges I ran into

A challenge I ran to was when I wanted to collaborate with Yassir the first Uber-like company in Algeria. I had a meeting the executive there and we started the process but eventually, we didn't have the chance to finish it

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Led Moftara9 to touch more than 6500 students online and oriented 300 students with special consulting.

What's next for Moftara9 | High School Orientation Platform

Re-build the web application and develop a new mobile application.
