Inspiration

As a freshie, with online lessons, it is hard to make friends and get to know people. I had hoped that there were someway to find people that were in your module so we could connect and interact

What it does

This is a website much like nusmods, but it creates a list of modules and people who are taking the modules and their contact number.

How we built it

I used django for the basic skeleton and built on it with python and html

Challenges we ran into

As html is a new language for me and django is a new package for me to learn, it took quite sometime to get things started. In the end, I managed to do a small mockup and got it running which was a relief.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I managed to pull up a interface with html code and made my first website.

What we learned

I learned how to use the python django API and html. I also learned things like post and get requests gaining a better understanding of the internet and how it works.

What's next for Mods with friends

This is a basic mock up, in the future this can be expended to the whole hall/school so people can connect with one another and find out who is taking their module.
