ModOps is a live operations dashboard for Reddit mod teams, built directly into Reddit. No browser extensions, no third-party tools, just install the app and open it.

Most mod teams today fly blind. Two mods end up reviewing the same report. Things slip through during shift changes. Nobody knows who else is online or what they're working on. ModOps fixes that by giving the whole team one shared view.

Here's what it does:

  • One queue for everything, post reports, comment reports, and AI-flagged content all show up in the same place
  • Item locking, the moment a mod opens something, it's locked for 5 minutes so nobody else acts on it at the same time
  • Flood alerts, if 8+ reports come in within 10 minutes, ModOps flags it as a coordinated attack and puts it at the top
  • Report trust scoring, tracks which report reasons actually lead to removals over time, so mods can spot low-quality reports fast
  • Removal messages, when a mod removes a post, the app automatically DMs the author with a reason (and can ban them too, with one tap)
  • Usernotes, leave notes on users that the whole team can see, color-coded by type (warning, spam, abusive, helpful)
  • Shift handoff log, shows the last 50 actions taken, by which mod, so incoming mods know exactly what happened before they arrived
  • Live mod presence, see who's online right now and what each person is reviewing
  • Surge prediction, based on your subreddit's history, predicts busy periods up to 6 hours ahead
  • Coverage gap alerts, highlights times when your subreddit regularly gets busy but nobody's around
  • Modmail preview, see the top unread threads without leaving the dashboard
  • AutoMod templates, 10 ready-to-use rules (spam filters, karma gates, keyword blocks) that install to your wiki in one click
  • Instant history on install, pulls up to 500 recent mod actions the moment the app is installed, so the dashboard isn't starting from zero

Optional extras:

  • Demo mode, explore the full dashboard with realistic sample data, no real reports needed
  • AI (powered by OpenAI), scans new posts every 15 minutes for rule violations, writes a shift summary when a mod logs in, and drafts modmail replies. The app works completely without this if you don't want to use AI.
