Inspiration

I needed a custom ATS (Applicant Tracking System) for my collegue and I at Chick-fil-A. I built a template then, and have since modified it to include Ai.

What it does

A portion of it acts as a public job board, while another portion acts as an ATS. You post post job listings as well as recieve applicants. You can track the applicants status throughout the entire process, create meetings, and have Ai give it's thoughts throughout the entire process.

How we built it

I build this my self. Was just a lot of trial and error, learning how to most effeciently streamline the process.

Challenges we ran into

The scripts portion of the template with shortcodes stumped me for an entire month, but I eventually got it figured out. Couldn't figure out how to replace all the words, while having the ForEach loop build on it's changes and not create a new entry for each shortcode.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of this entire thing. It's literally an entire app that handles the entire process start to finish. I'm fairly proud of the Ui as well.

What we learned

Sooooo much... I was initially a bit put off with Coda Ai compared to ChatGPT, but I learned how to give the Ai direction to get the exact result I wanted. I'm super happy with it now!

What's next for Modern Recruitment

I plan on publishing it for others to use in some capacity. I believe the core of it is as good as it can be. It could be made 'better' with more integrations, but with me planning on releasing it, and everyone having a different workflow, I'm not sure it makes sense to add many other integrations.
