Most people have gone through the scenario where they reach for their favorite brand of cereal, fill their bowl to the brim with that yummy-goodness, and realized they were out of milk. We wanted to solve this problem by creating a monthly subscription based service where we deliver fresh milk right to your door. We plan on producing a wide variety of milks to tackle all areas of the market. We wanted to focus in on both the older generation whom might feel nostalgia getting milk delivered and the younger generation that do not know what they were missing out on.

What it does

How we built it

We decided to make a web app built from HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We made calls to Fiserv's API which included payment options, adding customers, and more. The website ran on an Apache Tomcat Web Server.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into several challenges making GET, POST, and DELETE calls to the Fiserv API. It had very specific parameters which needed to be sent correctly or we would not get any success.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was the first time we both worked with an API of this level, and it was interesting learning all about RESTful web services. We both learned a lot about user experience, and are proud with how the website turned out for the most part. We are very proud of our progress seeing that we were only a team of two.

What we learned

We learned a lot about how to tackle a new API. Postman proved very helpful in understanding the flow of data. We also learned what was possible/wasn't with the technology that we chose.
