A concrete version of the problem this catches: a feature table built two years ago for one churn model, that four more teams have since quietly built on top of — a pricing model, a support-triage model, a marketing optimizer, a fraud model. Nobody made that decision; it just accumulated. Today, if that table breaks, five models across four teams go down with it, and the one person who still thinks of it as "the churn table" has no idea it's become that.
