Modello is an interactive program that allows users to create custom patterns for textiles, graphic design projects, and other visual media. Users begin with a blank canvas and add various shapes through drop-down menus and slider bars. These tools allow for the customization of colours, sizes, spacing, and other visual properties of shapes within the pattern tile. Furthermore, Modello offers multiple pattern-arrangement modes that let users preview how their design will repeat across a surface, where they may also customize the spacing and sizes of tiles. Once satisfied with their creation, users can save their patterns to a personal library for future editing or export a high-resolution image of the final design for use in digital or physical projects.
