Inspiration

As a mod, we struggled with working on the same tasks at the same time. The built in reddit mod mail is not live synced, and we needed something that could allow us to collaborate on the same things and SEE what other mods did in real time.

What it does

This is a mod-only app that functions as a replacement for mod mail. It features kanban style ticket management for mail, assigning tasks, Live typing indicators and more! The big win here is helping mods reduce working on the same mod mail at the same time.

How we built it

Built inspired by popular kanban apps, porting over all existing mod mail features and making them real time.

What's next for Modboard

Working on adding a live queue management system next, so mods can see in real time what queue items have been delt with, or are currently being reviewed by another mod, so work is not repeated.
