Inspiration
I’ve always believed that personal finance should feel empowering, not overwhelming. Many budgeting apps on the market are either too complicated or packed with features people rarely use. I wanted to create something simple, intuitive, and effective—an expense tracker that helps people stay on top of their money 365 days a year, without the stress of spreadsheets.
What it does
Budget 365 allows users to: -Track daily expenses and income -Categorize transactions for better insights -Visualize spending with clean charts and summaries -Set budgets to avoid overspending -Stay motivated with progress tracking The goal is to give users a clear picture of their finances in seconds.
How i built it
-Frontend & Mobile App: Built using Flutter for a smooth cross-platform experience. -State Management: BLoC for predictable and scalable architecture. -Database: Local storage powered by drift for fast, offline-first usage. -Design: Focused on a minimal, user-friendly interface that encourages daily use.
Challenges i ran into
- How to achieve Buzziest Launch, and I am happy with 5000 users in the first 3 days. -Striking the balance between simplicity and functionality—deciding which features to keep and which to cut. -Optimizing local database performance when handling large amounts of transactions. -Navigating app store guidelines and ensuring compliance with data safety requirements.
Accomplishments that i am proud of
-Launching Budget 365 on both iOS and Android. -Reaching real users who actively track their expenses daily.
