What It Does MOCKY is an AI-powered platform designed to simulate real interview scenarios. It dynamically generates questions based on your target role, leverages speech recognition to analyze your spoken responses, and provides detailed feedback, including ratings and improvement suggestions, to help you refine your skills.
How We Built It MOCKY was built using modern web technologies and AI frameworks:
Frontend: Developed using React and Next.js for a seamless and responsive user interface. Backend: Powered by Node.js and integrated with Clerk for secure user authentication. AI Integration: Utilized Gemini Api for generating interview questions and analyzing answers, combined with speech recognition APIs to process and convert spoken responses into text. Design: Crafted a user-friendly UI that makes navigating the app intuitive and engaging. Challenges We Ran Into Speech-to-Text Accuracy: Ensuring real-time and accurate conversion of spoken answers into text required fine-tuning speech recognition models. AI Feedback: Balancing between constructive critique and actionable suggestions was tricky to achieve meaningful yet encouraging feedback. Seamless Authentication: Implementing secure and user-friendly login options while ensuring data privacy posed initial integration challenges.
