Inspiration
Thinking of a hackathon project can be a daunting task, especially given the limited time at hackathons. Worry no more - thanks to the power of procedural generation, creativity is no longer needed!
What it does
By filling in a simple questionnaire, our revolutionary algorithm generates a hackathon project idea, solution, and presentation all in one convenient package! Never again will you need to use your brain to come up with ideas, let us do all the hard work for you!
How we built it
A GPT-2 model generates the project descriptions and presentation text, the front-end is built using fast-api and bootstrap, and presentations are generated using remark. Components are connected to one another using zeromq and docker-compose.
Challenges we ran into
Getting all our components to work together as one functioning whole. Thanks to docker-compose we were able to plug all our components together fairly easily.
