Inspiration

As founders and creators, we understand how critical it is to maintain a strong presence on LinkedIn but consistently creating high-quality posts is time-consuming. We were inspired to build MobioGen to make content creation easier, faster, and more impactful for solopreneurs, marketers, and professionals. Our goal was to empower users to go from idea to polished LinkedIn post with image and text in just a few minutes.

What it does

MobioGen is an AI-powered LinkedIn post generator. Users input a topic, and the app guides them through a structured 3-step process:

1. Generate a personalized LinkedIn post using AI.
2. Select or input a quote to create a visually compelling image.
3. Download the final post or copy it for sharing.

The app also supports user accounts, subscription plans, and usage tracking—making it ready for scale.

How we built it

We built MobioGen entirely on Bolt.new, using:

• React and Tailwind CSS for the frontend UI.
• Supabase for authentication, database, and backend services.
• Supabase Edge Functions to integrate with OpenRouter (for AI text) and Replicate (for AI images).
• Stripe for monetization, subscription management, and customer portal access.
• Netlify for full-stack deployment.

Challenges we ran into

• LinkedIn integration: Due to API limitations, we decided to keep the workflow entirely on our platform and allow manual copy-posting.
• Image and text prompt tuning: Ensuring AI-generated content was both professional and creative required significant experimentation and prompt engineering.
• Dynamic placeholders: Removing AI artifacts like [TOPIC] and ensuring a polished final output was harder than expected.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Seamlessly integrating dual AI workflows (text + image) into a single user flow.
• Building and deploying a production-grade app with monetization features in under a month.
• Creating a user experience that’s genuinely useful for founders and creators.

What we learned

• Bolt.new is a powerful environment for building beautiful UIs even without deep coding experience.
• However, building scalable apps still requires basic knowledge of Supabase edge functions, APIs, and database modeling.
• Prompt engineering is both an art and science, especially when user inputs vary widely.

What's next for Mobiogen - LinkedIn Post Generator

• Fine-tune text and image prompts and test other AI models for better outputs
• Integrate with LinkedIn
• Explore integrations with other social media channels e.g., Facebook, X (Twitter and Instagram.
• Add a "post scheduler" to queue and publish posts automatically.
• Collect user feedback to improve onboarding and content personalization.
