Inspiration

Mobile event access stations aka “Boarding ticket after Covid-19”

Let's be real, while conferences go online, on-site cultural events such as pop-concerts, arts fairs, symphonic orchestra concerts are doomed probably for the next 2 years, and while you hopefully think "we will get back to normal by August".. well, good luck! This will hit not only the events industry, but economy as such. What if we could come up with a solution that would ensure safer travel and opportunity for people to meet, while still undergoing COVID-19 restrictions? We see that plugging together event data + newest advancements in COVID-19 testing it would be possible!

What it does

Mobile event access stations aka “Boarding ticket after Covid-19” is a mobile instant health-check station integrated with event-data to allow people attending cultural events in larger groups as soon as possible, while staying safe and not jeopardizing others.

With our new solution ,attending a concert / event would be the same as checking-in for a flight at an airport - yes, you'd need extra time, but it would be possible sooner.

This means:

1 : Ensuring fast health-check providing a result to the organiser and the visitor within 45 minutes

-Mobile health check & data points (e-gate /-s entering the concert hall) -Collection of data and matching with the customer data (ID & ticket bar-codes) -Result notification to the customer’s mobile phone & organiser’s data system

2: Providing a safe way to continue with on-site events

-Pre-agreed “boarding on the event” system to all customers (predefined timing slots 2 hrs before the event)

-Included in the even ticket) health check

How we built it

As we ourselves are organisers behind a cool cultural event (Riga Jurmala Music Festival) (in 2019, our inaugural season we brought together more than 15 500 classical music lovers from 50 countries) and we are sad to witness that as a representative of this industry we can either wait until further government's guidelines and / or figure yet another online streaming from the artist's living room, we are more than ready to work on a solution that would allow this industry not only to experience slow existing, but be ready to adopt to the "new normal" (yes, perhaps, slightly pessimistic prognosis, but this seem to be the case).

According to preliminary check, we do have a financial support, ticketing people aboard; we've tested the idea with the representatives of the public health institutions and the Ministry of Culture and the first support is already received.

Yet, we are looking for software, hardware developers, service designers, med-tech representatives.
