A place for everything, just a few blinks away

Items are tagged with an NFC sticker. Once an item has been registered in the system it is assigned a 4 digit RGB code, which represents the location where it should be organized away.

Two buttons control the flow of things! The first is the assign button. When held down, a scanned tag is registered. If it is already registered then it stores the color code. Then, additional tags scanned get the same code until the button is let go.

The second is the clear button, which removes a tag from the system.

When neither button is pressed down and a tag is swiped over the NFC reader, the connected RGB led blinks in the set pattern tied to the tag, showing the user where the item with the tag belongs.
