Inspiration

we were inspired by the untapped potential of combining Google's advanced AI technology with the rich history and data of Major League Baseball. We wanted to create a tool that not only predicts the future of MLB prospects but also enhances the fan experience by delivering personalised, engaging content. Our goal was to bridge the gap between data-driven insights and the passion of baseball enthusiasts.

What it does

It Predicts Prospect Potential: Uses Google Gemini AI and MLB™ datasets to project a prospect’s career impact, comparing their current performance with historical data.

Personalized Fan Highlights: Allows fans to select teams, players, and preferences to receive custom audio, video, and text digests of the latest highlights and commentary.

Data-Driven Insights: Leverages MLB™-provided datasets, public datasets, and Google Cloud AI tools to deliver accurate, real-time predictions and analysis.

How we built it

Frontend: Built with React Native for cross-platform compatibility (iOS and Android).

Backend: Powered by Google Cloud AI tools and Gemini AI for predictive analytics and data processing.

Data Integration: We Utilized MLB™ datasets and public baseball databases to ensure accurate and comprehensive insights.

Personalisation Engine: Developed a system to curate and deliver personalised content based on user preferences.

APIs: Integrated with MLB™ APIs and third-party services for real-time data and highlights.

Challenges we ran into

AI Integration: Fine-tuning Google Gemini AI to provide reliable prospect projections and historical comparisons. Cross-Platform Performance: Building out the React Native app for and integrating the Apis was quiet hectic.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are glad we Successfully integrated Google Gemini AI to deliver accurate prospect predictions and we completely built out and deployed the app despite all odds.

We are looking to Expand Prospect Coverage, Enhanced Personalization Introduce AI-driven recommendations for teams and players based on user behavior. and add Social media Features, Add fan forums, polls, and community-driven content to foster engagement.
