Hello Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed participating in the Google MLB Hackathon. For me, this was an incredible learning experience. I had experience managing other cloud environments; however, I was still learning GCP terminology!

I retired from the military a few years ago. I then worked for myself at home with a new business startup—IT Consulting. For personal reasons, I required my own schedule and decided to leave government contracting two years ago. My expertise included managing large-scale enterprise networks, critical infrastructure, enterprise incident management, and cloud migrations to AWS and Azure (gov).

Lesson Learned: I habitually spent a bit too much time investigating available technologies and ensuring I knew how to do things, which greatly slowed me down in this process. Next time, I should have focused specifically on the submission instructions and avoided going down the rabbit hole! That would have saved me time. But overall, it was a great experience. I learned so much and looked forward to seeing what others produced.

My last steps were creating Looker charts—which seemed straightforward, but we all know how that can go! I hoped to still improve their appearance and add custom filters. There was a chance I might run out of time, but I wanted to be sure to congratulate everyone. Thank you for this wonderful training and fun experience!

Google has fantastic documentation; how to guide, referencing you directly to the issue at hand - so easy to troubleshoot as I built. I ran fell short of time with the rabbit holes I dug; but all was clear; great guidance!! Loved this
