What it does
ML-E is an intelligent assistant that understands your conversation to create potential matches and advise your dating life powered by GPT-3.
How we built it
We used GPT-3 API, a language processing library Langchain, and Beam to host the app.
Challenges we ran into
Unexpected bugs in hosting environment, dependency inconsistencies.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
People joining the team and rallying around the project. Getting the tech together in a couple of days and caring about the experience of finding arguably the most important thing in the world, love.
What we learned
We learned that dating app burnout is widespread, and that hacking together around a problem is fun.
What's next for ML-E
Better custom matching models, more bespoke user experience. Bigger dating pool resulting in millions of happy relationships, and potentially increase in population.
