Inspiration

A blockchain platform would lack so much vibrancy having no NFT embedded in it. This project emanates from our DeFi Tokenomics project with the primary focus of showcasing an extensive complementary use case as we explore further the amazing features of cryptography.

What it does

To begin with, the minting page already has 10,000 generative NFTs waiting to be minted. As mutually planned, these NFTs could only be claimed using the reward token, Achiever. And, up to five NFTs can be minted in one single transaction. They may then be listed for sale in MATIC on the marketplace. All items listed can be delisted or updated with a new price.

How we built it

The 10,000 artworks were first uploaded to Pinnata to have all respective metadata formulated and ready to be taken up by a gas saving mint contract. We then designed a marketplace that is highly and efficiently events driven utilizing the Moralis Transaction & Event Monitoring API.

Challenges we ran into

We were going a step too fast in a workflow which could sometimes halt an already successful track. Consequently, we spent a good amount of time wondering why an active table housing the listed items wouldn't show up on the Moralis Transaction & Event Monitoring console just because its cloud function hadn't been triggered earlier at the CLI. Also, the basic contract minting knowledge we had really made us dive into piecing information together, i.e., looking deep into OpenZeppelin imported files and referencing HashLips logics, till a sensible setting up of token URI associated with the serialized token ID could transpire.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

With limited knowledge and exposure we have, making the DAPP engine eventually function through increasing ideas and skills acquired assuredly establishes a strong coding journey ahead for everyone.

What we learned

Never give up on the projects you have been working hard on till the last hour as things sometimes aren't as complicated as they should be. Working cohesively through a team that has each other's interests in mind is another precious milestone to cherish upon.

What's next for MJET Achiever NFT Marketplace

We will introduce more NFT collections to the minting page and look into building some NFT owners only areas. A full fledged NFT marketplace taking auction bids from buyers will also be looked into.
