Inspiration: I love drones and MIXED reality can help us to have a better user experience and to develop new use case scenarios to fly drones in a more intuitive way
What it does: We are controlling and getting video from a drone using the Magic Leap One interface
How I built it: There is an API from DJI, the hardware will be a DJI Mavic drone and we can stream the video from the drone camera to the Magic Leap One interfacing it with an android phone and wifi
Challenges I ran into: Create the bridge between DJI API/Android/Magic Leap One
What's next for Mixed Reality to control a Drone:, You can use this applications combined with some Computer Vision and Tensorflow to identify objects by the drone and show it on an overlay interface on the users Mixed reality screen (Yes! just like in the movies)
