Inspiration
This project was inspired by my belief that “AI is not replacing the artist it is redefining the canvas” and my desire to reimagine a Seattle holiday flash mob through creativity and technology.
What It Does
It brings my custom avatar Nolie to life leading a massive AI-generated flash mob across iconic Seattle landmarks during Christmas time.
How We Built It
We remixed a 2010 song using Suno, generated thousands of dancers and cinematic scenes with AI tools, and combined them through curated editing and sequencing.
Challenges
The biggest challenges were maintaining visual consistency across scenes, generating realistic winter details, and coordinating large AI-generated crowds.
Accomplishments
We created a visually striking, large-scale music video that blends AI music, choreography, and storytelling in a way traditionally impossible without huge production resources.
Lessons
I learned how powerful AI can be as a creative partner, expanding what a single artist can produce while still requiring human direction and vision.
What’s Next
My company VRenity has recently launched a YouTube podcast called A Nerd’s Point of View, hosted by my AI avatar Nolie, where we explore the latest AI tools reshaping the creative space.
