Finding the right support system is complicated all on its own! When you add a disease and untreated/mistreated intractable chronic pain in the mix its a recipe for disaster!

Inspiration

Helping others know they are not alone in there suffering while living with "The King of Pain" or "Chronic Pain" AA is an incurable disease and cause debilitating progressive multi symptoms when left untreated/misdiagnosis . At one point in my journey I felt my pain was a punishment & the day I was treated without any Dignity & was forced to take 3 & 1/2 hour test laying on a high traffic hospital office floor that smelled of death I took a stand created AC so no one Elses will experience what I have went throufh with our Healthcare system while fighting for my life.

Challenges we ran into

Gaining organization with people who are already up & running working toward similar goals because of tech issues. & out dated tech equipment. Made the best of it and continue to chisel away at combating opioid epidemic while working to ensure Arachnoiditis chronic pain patients are no longer labeled as addicts! Patients Not Addicts

What we learned

There are only 4000 pain specialist across the USA. That is not nearly enough! The number is rapidly declining as the war on pain patients rises!

What's next for Missouri Impact Project

Presently putting boots on the ground to gain an actual number of patients miss-diagnosis or miss-treated & not receiving adequate services to help service & reduce the agony of living in Chronic pain with this disease that leaves patients felling abandoned & alone. According to the UN orphaned diseases are often abandoned. I am building grassroots & Grasstops in hopes of becoming more formally organized on Local levels that will help this movement grow in the right directions!
