Mirror Savings

Our team was inspired by the challenge of making financial tracking intuitive and actionable, particularly for identifying small recurring expenses that often go unnoticed. Many people struggle to understand where their money goes each month, and we wanted to create a solution that helps users make smarter financial decisions.

Mirror Savings helps users better understand and manage their personal finances by tracking expenses, identifying spending patterns, and highlighting recurring costs that might be overlooked. The platform provides clear visualizations and actionable insights to help users optimize their budget.

We built the project as a full-stack solution using multiple technologies:

React for the frontend

MongoDB for data storage

One of the main challenges we encountered was maintaining data consistency and efficiently processing multiple expense entries in real time.
