🌌 Inspiration

“Mirage Frequency” was born from the desire to connect the ancestral with the digital — to explore how tribal rhythms can coexist with synthesizers and electronic textures. The idea emerged from observing how ancient cultures understood sound as a form of energy, something that also resonates within digital code today.

🧠 Learning

Throughout the process, I discovered that electronic music not only translates emotion into waves, but also into data. I learned to integrate different sonic languages — organic, electronic, and vocal — to build a space where both worlds could dialogue. Technically, each frequency can be represented as a sinusoidal function:

𝑓 ( 𝑡

)

𝐴 sin ⁡ ( 2 𝜋 𝑓 0 𝑡 + 𝜙 ) f(t)=Asin(2πf 0

t+ϕ)

where 𝐴 A is the amplitude, 𝑓 0 f 0

the fundamental frequency, and 𝜙 ϕ the phase.

⚙️ Development

I began by designing atmospheres with dreamwave synthesizers and digitally processed tribal percussion layers. Then I integrated vocal elements with reverb and granular synthesis effects to achieve an ethereal texture. The project was developed in a hybrid environment between DAW and audio programming, using automation and dynamic processing to simulate “digital echoes.”

🌀 Challenges

The main challenge was balancing the human and the synthetic — preserving emotional warmth within an artificial soundscape. Another significant challenge was the mixing process, ensuring that the tribal elements retained their organic strength without losing cohesion with the synthesizers.
