Have you ever wondered that in a meeting or lecture you concentrate on a particular conversation and how the other entirety of it just a hazy memory, well we present to you Minutes of Meeting. Our project aims to record the voice or voices of people having conversation or giving speeches and summarizes the important points that were relevant and important to note down. We have built a web application that streamlines this process from recording a person's voice, converting it to text and then summarizing it to keep important points which people could have missed. Our web application is built using Angular and Node JS along with Google Firebase for storage. We used the Google Cloud API: Speech-to-Text inorder to convert the all the audio conversations to text. Since this is a hackathon, the biggest challenge for us was time. We could not implement all the things we thought of during our brainstorming session as time was a constraint. We faced a lot of bugs while trying to integrate the individual parts of the of the project. We also took time to debug how different audio files are converted to text using the Google Cloud API, as each type of audio file has different hertz limit. First and foremost we are proud of developing an application which can record a user's audio and give out the summary for it, it also maintains the original conversation in the database. We are also proud that we were able to implement the Google Cloud API as it gave us a lot of confidence. The next steps for Minutes of Meeting is to implement the features into the application which we were not able to due time restrictions. We plan to to perform various analytics on the conversations that are recorded. We also plan to distinguish the voices of various participants so that each participant is identified seperately
