Inspiration

Our survey shows that most non-Web3 people are not willing to invest their time into blockchain because of its technical complexity and cost - such as requiring to learn Solidity and paying for high gas fees. Meanwhile, Web3 developers are still rare and expensive to hire. Although some platforms like OpenSea and Mintable.app offer lazy minting with no coding required, it is not actual minting and not decentralized.

What it does

Our solution is Mintnite, a multi-use-case Web3 minting tool that anyone can mint fungible tokens, NFTs and even SBTs (soulbound tokens) with no programming required. It supports bulk NFT minting and tokens can be set as public or private.

Mintnite takes advantage of Fantom's high-speed but low gas fee benefits.

No registration is required and you own your smart contract (no custody whatsoever). You can create as many smart contracts as you wish with no limits on the number of tokens minted.

Mintnite Features

  • Smart contracts are based on OpenZeppelin templates, hence they are secure and compatible with industry standards.

  • Support major wallets – MetaMask, Rainbow, TrustWallet and more.

  • Tokens can be transferred, burn and more – just like standard contracts.

  • Bulk minting enables the minting of multiple NFT/SBTs in one transaction.

  • NFT/SBT tokens can be public or private. Public tokens have their payload on-chain while private tokens only contain the file hash.

Use Cases

We're thinking beyond NFT art. Since most minting platforms are narrowly focused on NFT art trade, we're aiming for a bluer ocean with various use cases as below.

  • NFT/SBT Coupons – On-chain coupons to prevent multi-million dollar fraud. SBT coupons can prevent coupon transfers.
  • NFT Deed – Use with real-world assets such as property deed
  • NFT/SBT Club Membership Access – Replace membership cards with NFT/SBT cards.
  • Car Registration Number Trade – Enable the trade of rare car plate numbers by tokenizing numbers in NFTs. This will enable traceability and royalty collection by departments of motor vehicles.
  • Game Achievements – Issue virtual badges to gamers.
  • NFT/SBT Certificates – Issuance of verifiable certificate to individuals such as university degrees.
  • Digital Identities – Using SBT, we can issue authentic and verifiable digital identifications.
  • Governance and Votes - SBT tokens can enable individuals to vote digitally in DAO or even in offline elections.
  • Credit Scoring – Storing history of payments and debts in SBTs.

Winning Pledge

We pledge to use the cash prize to offer free FTM tokens to our users in order to subsidize their minting gas fees.

NOTES

  • Although we submitted our contract on mainnet but since we are a contract creation platform, our smart contract is just a demo contract.
