What it does

Provides another opportunity for modeling agencies and fashion models to book work with blockchain clients, be paid through digital currency and have additional earning options.

How we built it

The fashion models that we manage helped create simple images of themselves to create a Model NFT Gallery. Not only can that NFT be sold, but also used to promote and book them.

Challenges we ran into

Explaining the concept and how it works to the talent. Doing our best to define the terms and ensuring we are not infringing on any copyright with the images.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being the first modeling agency on the blockchain. Our models love it. They think it's cool. We have excellent trust established with our talent therefore it was easy to approach them about and make happen. We have sold two NFTs without doing any promotion yet.

What we learned

Creating wallets, creating a brand on Opensea. Setting up the gallery and images and creating our look and feel. The limitations of Opensea for now in how we would like our gallery to look.

What's next for Minting Fashion Models - League Models

Continuing to grow the gallery. It can be as large as we like. Partnering with a top fashion brand to do the FIRST blockchain fashion model booking. Ideally, the model books the wearables for web3 AND the in person wearable that matches AND is seen walking the runway in the wearable of that designer. We also have a model scouting app, mymode.co with almost 9,000 users. It's a great feeder tool for growing model collections.
