From the guiding robot in Korea's Incheon Airport
What it does
A mini robot can walk around the restaurant and take order from dine-in customers for restaurants and coffee shops, which can help limit close contact during this pandemic, and the interaction with the robot can enhance the customers' experiences.
How I built it
Using node.js and react, as well as NCR's Silver API and SpeechRecognition library

Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Finish implementing features that I wanted to implement. My teammates both decided to drop due to school commitment. I was very discouraged but I'm proud that I didn't give up.

What's next for Minirobot waiter
Would like to integrate more advanced ML algorithms in understanding human intent while they are interacting with the robot, improve back-end system to handle situations when there are available promos/discounts or inventory is out-of-stock, integrate debit card transactions.
