The story line for the game is Minions are attacked by an Alien ship which is continuously sending Green colored Aliens in the town where minions are staying. The entire town has been wiped clean by the Aliens. Only one Minion is remaining who is fighting the Aliens and collecting Gumballs to bring back the Minion world to stability. In the game, the Alien Ship attacks the minion by throwing Aliens at him. The Minion shoots the Alien with a Bullet. If the Minion hits the Alien Ship or the Alien, it earns points. When an Alien is destroyed, the Alien ship releases a Gumball and the Minion gets it. When the Alien Ship gets hit 10 times by Minions’ bullet, the game ends.

Its always interesting to play games. Why not try to develop one being Computer major ?? J Monkey Engine 3.0 is stable and good platform to develop 3D game. (Exciting to go with latest resources as JME3.0 has been released on 15th Feb,2014)

J Monkey Engine was totally new for us since it has been released within a year ago only. We put in more efforts on adding special effects and video processing in a 3D game. It has also been a great challenge to create 3D characters using Blender with visual effects printed models.

We are really proud that we could developed a game by giving it 3D effects. We are happy that we could gain more command over Java and learn to use JME and Blender.

This is my first attempt at making a video game. It is currently a simple shooter and has many areas that can be improved. To play the game simply select the number of cycles (1-3) desired and the number of players (1-2) and click Start. Then use the WASD keys along with the mouse to move around. Left click the mouse to fire. Shoot all of the targets to win your turn. Click continue if there are multiple players, and repeat. Otherwise you will be taken back to the start screen upon completion of all rounds.

Future plans include but are not limited to the following:

Character: -Update the player vehicle with a better skin -Add different types of weapons

Enemies: -Add different kinds of targets. (need to create meshes for them and give them skins as well) -Add some kind of AI so they do not just creepily follow the player around like lost kittens -Add spawning of new targets and get rid of the old ones instead of just changing colors and remaining in the map

Environment: -Get directional/positional sounds working properly -Add some kind of ambient sound loop -Create a new level of my own design

Gameplay: -Add the total score to the hud display, and the score for each hit item
