Inspiration

Inspired by era defining flash games and modern roguelikes like Vampire Survivor. MiniMoto includes engaging elements like sick drifts, stellar zombies, and a car that jumps. Whoa!

How we built it

MiniMoto is primarily built with pygame, with supporting pixel programs for art, Aseprite and Tiles, and sound, Audacity. Using preexisting tile maps and custom assets, our team was able to piece together an impactful pixelated environment akin to early flash games. MiniMoto is a group collaboration of five talented students over the course of 24 hours. Each person contributed in time and skill, helping define what is an amazing game MiniMoto grew to be.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This team has worked together in the past, and the accomplishment we are most proud of is how much fluid we have grown as developers and as a team. This project is not just about the last 24 hours, but years of collaboration and friendship <3

Also, we never used pygame to this extent before. We did a lot.

What's next for MiniMoto

  • More enemies
  • More drifts
  • Car options (AE86)
  • Upgrade options
