I wanted to learn Next.js and decided building a blog would be a great way to do it. I learned about static site generation, dynamic routes, and Markdown parsing. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to handle image optimization effectively. Used gray-matter to handle metadata and remark to render Markdown.
