Inspiration

Invoice billing pictures that I have seen online.

What it does

Create a simple invoice billing paper.

How we built it

Created it with React + Vite. Decided to use this hackathon as a learning experience for me to know more about some scripting in JavaScript. First planned to integrate my basic knowledge in SQL with the use of node.js but decided to just use this hackathon as a way to refresh myself in doing basic frontend with simple codes. Front-end was assisted with AI (ChatGPT & Copilot), focused more on the handling and commands of how each input would work out.

Challenges we ran into

Since this was my first project from a 2-month break, I can't remember most of the syntax and text in regards of doing html and CSS. Therefore, I have resorted to just ask assistance from ChatGPT and Copilot in visual studio in order for me to create the demo frontend for this invoice system.

To Note, Since I am not familiar with what an invoice billing looks like, I decided to just take an inspiration from google. So, this is one of my first wall since I am really not sure what an invoice looks like.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm glad that I made another project back from my 2-month break of pushing codes in my repos, this was a refreshing project, but I'd say not my best work. (I got demotivated 1 week in the project).

What I learned

Everything is very fast with the assistance of AI, but it needs very good fundamental knowledge in order to be used in coding. I also learned that anything is possible as long as programmers take the time to think about it.

What's next for Mini-voice

I believe this is only limited for just basic invoice billing for people who want to demo how an invoice bill works / looks like. I can't say this would be helpful to be used in actual business, but it would be if used academically.
