I have collaborated the features of many rovers (some features of each rover) like Curiosity and others to create my own small prototype. This prototype can actually perform functions like it can drill rocks, Smart display (OLED), it can move (Bluetooth remote controlled), it has laser light, it has a solar oven, solar panels, rotating cameras(stationary), a cooling fan controlled by a temperature sensor, a 7 segment display, and a light sensor-controlled LED. All does not end here, I also have LEDs that can be controlled with switches. Servo motors have been used in order to rotate a particular object at a particular angle.
It is called Independent; Self-Dependent because it has sensors that give it an input value to be later processed on and generate an output that makes it independent. It is solely dependent on itself because like in the actual rover Curiosity, the rover is operated by the Mission Control in the NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. This rover is operated by a Bluetooth remote. The remote is there to give instructions to operate the movable parts of rovers.
