We wanted to create a simple tool to help students perform quick calculations while practicing basic Java programming concepts.
Mini Calculator for Students performs basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division through a simple user interface.
The project was developed using Java and Java Swing for the graphical user interface, with event handling used to process button clicks and perform calculations.
Handling invalid user inputs, managing division by zero, and designing a clean and simple graphical interface using Swing components.
Successfully building a working calculator with a user-friendly interface and applying Java concepts like GUI design and event-driven programming.
We learned how to create graphical interfaces in Java, handle user input, implement arithmetic operations, and improve debugging and problem-solving skills.
In the future, we plan to add advanced operations, improve the UI design, include keyboard support, and add a calculation history feature.
