Inspiration
Inspired by the sumo bot competition, our team decided to create ScavengeeBot, a bot that is able to complete tiny little tasks whilst avoiding obstacles.
What it does
Our bot can traverse an obstacle course while completing little tasks such as transporting a box and throwing a ball.
How we built it
We built it over a span of 24 hours. We used Arduino IDE along with various sensors to create this bot.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into various hardware problems, such as the sensors bugging and the arduino code not uploading.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we completed our first EVER hackathon! And of course, we are all very happy to have created a cute little ScavengeeBot.
What we learned
We learned how to program an arduino and take input from various sensors.
What's next for ScavengeeBot
We plan to continue learning arduino code in order to prepare for future hackathons. By doing so, we will be able to create more efficient projects on our own.
