Inspiration Underground mine work can stall when crews arrive before materials, tools, approvals, or equipment are ready. We wanted to bring FedEx-style tracking and Amazon-level fulfilment logic to mine operations.
What it does MineJIT.ai tracks materials from supplier order → shipping → site warehouse → staging → underground delivery → face/crew confirmation. It shows whether a job is Ready, At Risk, or Blocked before the crew starts.
How we built it We built a live dashboard prototype with three views: Supplier, Site/Warehouse, and Mine Map. We used mock mining data, status progression, readiness scoring, tracking timelines, and AI-style recommendations.
Challenges we ran into The biggest challenge was simplifying a complex industrial supply chain into a demo that could be understood quickly. We focused on one clear story: resin bolts moving from supplier to face.
Accomplishments that we're proud of We created a working end-to-end flow where a job starts At Risk, materials move through the system, the crew confirms receipt, and the job becomes Ready.
What we learned The real value is not just tracking orders — it is connecting suppliers, warehouses, planners, contractors, and crews around one question: can this job actually happen?
What's next for MineJIT.ai Next steps include ERP/supplier integrations, QR/RFID tracking, contractor portals, predictive material demand, underground delivery optimization, and real pilot testing with mining suppliers and operators.
