Inspiration

Minecraft the movie was my inspiration for this Obby. I watched my son grow up playing Roblox and he use to give me the phone to play with him. That's where I learned to play Obby's. I been in Horizon World for over 3 years now and I enjoy playing parkour worlds and escape room's. So with all of my experience I have in playing different puzzle games. I knew that this build was going to be nothing but amazing.

What it does

Minecraft Obby is a obstacle course with multiple adventures. Once you jump through the portal your jumping into a different obstacle every time you make it through an obstacle. You will work your way through different jumps and turns in order to make it out.

How we built it

I built "Minecraft Obby" using Horizon World Desktop Editor, Copolt Typescript Editor, Blender and Substance painter. I utilized AI to help with some dope art for the world.

Challenges we ran into

My biggest challenge building Minecraft Obby was using the typescript editor and learning how to import different scripts in Horizon Worlds Also, learning how to optimize my world for mobile and desktop was a challenge. I learned how to set different cameras around the world for better views.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am very proud of myself for going the extra mile and not giving up. I submitted my world for early feedback and I received some good feedback that let me know I was on the right track to success. Now that I made Minecraft Obby and know how to use typescripts and different cameras. I'm ready to make more worlds and even faster then usual.

What we learned

I learned that you have to really take your time and learn the new Horizon Desktop Editor Because using the desktop editor will help you complete your worlds faster and can help you if you need help. I learn more about writing typescripts and more about making my world more better for mobile users.

What's next for Minecraft - Obby

I plan on building more worlds of course and more games for kids. We have a game that's going to be inside of the Minecraft Obby called Creeper City its going to be some what of a PVP. You have to find all the Creepers before the time runs out. It's going to be a nice environment where you can go after you complete the Obby.
