Inspiration
Mining Industry, though a very essential industry, is very hazardous. Miners suffer from health hazards and lifetime impairments to extract items from deep underground.
What it does
MineCare is an app that helps Miners to work in safe work conditions and allow them to live healthy lives
MineCare allows for miners to practice better health excercies and safety routines to improve the health of miners and reduce the chances of accidents
How we built it
We built it using Android Studio
Challenges we ran into
The 24 hour time limit was the biggest challenge. Due to time differences, I had less than 10 hours to complete the prototype
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am really proud of the Idea, and the amount of work that I managed to do in such a small scale.
What is next for MineCare
Next for MineCare, I am going to complete the prototype and add other features, such as contacting the authorities if too many mine workers complain about safety issues in the same location/area
