Inspiration Mental well-being is often overlooked, yet it's crucial for living a balanced life. I wanted to create a tool that could truly help people take care of their mental health in a structured, interactive, and supportive way. Inspired by the growing need for accessible mental health resources and personal experiences, I set out to develop an app that empowers users to monitor, understand, and improve their well-being. What it does MindWell is a comprehensive mental well-being app designed to support users on their mental health journey. Key features include: Mental health quizzes to assess emotional state Guided breathing exercises and meditation sessions for stress relief A social network where users can connect and support each other Daily, weekly, and monthly self-assessments A personalised Well-Being Score with detailed analysis and tailored advice How we built it I used Bolt.new, an AI-powered code builder, to streamline development. It allowed me to implement my ideas with ease, translating concepts into working features quickly. I designed the user interface to be calming and user-friendly, focusing on functionality and accessibility. Each feature was developed iteratively, allowing for testing and improvement at every stage. Challenges we ran into Although Bolt.new made the coding process smooth, integrating different features—like syncing the social network with real-time data or calibrating the well-being scoring system—presented unique technical challenges. Ensuring the advice provided was meaningful and sensitive to different mental states also required careful thought and refinement. I also gained deeper insight into how digital platforms can offer real support to people struggling with mental wellness.

What's next for MindWell ? I plan to: Integrate AI-powered mood tracking based on journal entries or voice input Add professional support access, connecting users with therapists or counsellors Expand community features with moderation and group support spaces Launch the app publicly and gather user feedback for continuous improvement
