This is the login page where students and teachers will sign in.
This is the teacher dashboard where teachers can assign tasks, create classrooms, use their lesson planner as well as their gradebook.
This is the teacher lesson planner which incorporates Artificial Intelligence to help teachers create objectives for their lessons.
This is where teachers will submit grades for students who apart of their classroom.
This is the student dashboard where students see tasks they have been assigned and grades they have achieved in their specific classroom.

Inspiration

We drew inspiration from platforms like Spork and AP Classroom by College Board, which connect students and teachers to foster a productive learning environment.

What it does

Mindspark provides a stable and interactive space where teachers and students can collaborate effectively. It allows teachers to assign tasks, grade submissions, and generate lessons and tests with AI, creating a seamless classroom experience.

How we built it

We developed the interface using HTML and CSS, ensuring an intuitive and visually appealing design. The back-end functionality, including interactive features and AI integration, was implemented using JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

Designing features such as classroom creation, task assignment, and grading presented significant challenges. It required us to think critically about user interaction and integrate robust functionality for these essential tasks.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of successfully implementing an AI-powered system for lesson planning and test generation, providing educators with valuable tools to streamline their workflow.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned how to utilize APIs for integrating large language models, enabling dynamic features like test creation and lesson planning.

What's next for Mindspark

In the future, we aim to introduce an interactive chat feature, allowing students in the same classroom to communicate and collaborate more effectively. This enhancement will further enrich the Mindspark experience.
