Inspiration
My inpiration for this project came from my own disorganization. I have always been a heavy user of multiple notes apps. As a result, many of my ideas get lost deep in the list structures of apps like google docs, notes, notion, and they are also scattered throughout the three apps. These apps have remained the same since the introduction of notes apps over 20 years ago. I sought to build an organizer for these thoughts in a more human way with Mindscape.
What it does
Using cosine similarity and Gemini (or offline AI if you don't upload an API key), Mindscape maps out your notes and ideas to categories, and links similar intentions and ideas together.
How we built it
Antigravity and Claude Code.
Challenges we ran into
Making it work fully offline. Camera movement and making the UX feel smooth.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
You can direct mindscape with just your voice. The theme of TillyHacks 2026 was "New Interfaces" A voice controlled network map of ideas is my new interface to the old notes/notion/docs interfaces.
What we learned
In browser machine learning is genuinely viable. I had always just done api calls for my ai needs.
What's next for Mindscape
per note meta data, AI analysis of what the whole mindscape represents and says about the user as a whole.
