Inspiration

I used to prepare for my tests by just rereading my notes, before I discovered Flash cards, Feynman Technique and more. It was a hassle converting my notes into Flash cards or any other technique that would help me retain information and test myself better.

What it does

Our app is just the perfect tool that removes that hassle for you. Using cutting-edge AI we transform all your notes into the latest methods used by students to practice effectively.

How we built it

We built a basic note taking app inspired by Notion and integrated an LLM which converts the notes that we took into simple flash card question and answers and we plug that information back into our app.

Challenges we ran into

As our project was quite ambitious, we ran into time constraints. We did not get enough time to fine-tine our model and our frontend was a bit buggy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to put together a small demo of what our project is capable of. We built a neat text editor, functionally quite similar to Notion.

What we learned

We learned React.js, Python, how to deploy a LLM on the cloud and as well as how tailwind and using shadcn reusable component library. We also used Figma to create some components for our demo.

What's next for Mind Mosaic

We would like to finish the app, iron out the frontend and fix the bugs. Fine tune our model and finish the integration. We want the app to be able to run completely offline and we want this to be an opensource solution, we are on the lookout for a way to run LLMs on your local machine so that students can just use the app without having the need for internet.
