Inspiration
As English learners coming into the U.S. we had a hard time understanding people not only because of their slang but also the lack of perceiving on how people feel or their mood while communicating. In order to make fix that problem and also take a different on communication we came up with mind morph.
What it does
It interprets messages according to the person's individual character and their preference of organization.
How we built it
We mainly used HTML, CSS and JavaScript in order to create browser version along with formatting and designs. In order to make interpretation and speech to text system possible, we used Claude API and Voice API respectively.
Challenges we ran into
In order to set up a signing we decided on using a firebase. But the lack of experience in creating firebases ultimately led us to drop that idea. Instead we came up with a temporary sign in system for the demonstration.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Some accomplishments we are truly happy about are the use of physics for cool interactive elements and planet orbits.
What we learned
We learned how to implement different API in order to make communication more efficient and fun.
What's next for MindMorph
We are planning to create a multi-user live flatform by configurating a fire base. Also, encryption based verification to make sure user data is preserved(Ex: Every three days user must enter a secret word they set in the beginning that only they know.).
