Inspiration

During exam season, I realized that many students, including myself, struggle with staying motivated, planning their study schedule, and dealing with stress or burnout. While there are productivity apps, none combine AI-driven motivation with personalized study planning and stress relief in one friendly tool. I wanted to create something simple that feels like a supportive buddy in your pocket.

What it does

MindMate AI is your personal AI buddy. It helps you generate a daily study plan, sends you motivational quotes, and provides quick mindfulness tips to manage stress. You can check in every day and track your progress without feeling overwhelmed.

How we built it

I built MindMate AI entirely on my tablet, using no-code tools like Glide for the mobile app, Google Sheets for storing user data, and Canva for designing the UI and pitch deck. I also used ChatGPT to generate sample content for daily motivation and mindfulness tips.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was designing an app that is simple yet engaging on a small screen. I also had to figure out how to connect the AI-generated content with the user’s daily inputs using Glide’s limited logic options.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud that I managed to build a working prototype entirely on a tablet, learned to use no-code tools, and created a design that looks clean and user-friendly.

What we learned

I learned how powerful no-code tools can be, even if you don’t have access to a laptop or advanced coding skills. I also improved my design thinking and user flow planning.

What's next for MindMate AI

I want to integrate better personalization, like using AI to adapt study plans based on actual progress. I’d also love to add push notifications, daily mood tracking, and a simple community feature for peer motivation.
