Inspiration

What it does- MindMate is a simple chatbot that chats with users, generates QR codes, and shares quotes/facts/jokes in real time with a clean and friendly UI.

How we built it

We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and a Flask (Python) backend to power QR code generation and random content. The design focuses on simplicity and usability.

Challenges we ran into

Making smooth frontend–backend communication. Designing a chatbot interface that feels interactive and engaging. Debugging time-consuming issues while integrating multiple features together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully built a working chatbot with no API keys required. Integrated QR code and quote generation seamlessly. Delivered a clean and user-friendly interface.

What we learned

How to connect Flask backend with JS frontend.Improved understanding of event handling and dynamic UI updates. Debugging skills under time pressure.
